Wanna See Wyclef Jean in an intimate concert for Free?

This story is free to read because readers choose to support LAist. If you find value in independent local reporting, make a donation to power our newsroom today.

Everyone's favorite Fugee is coming out with a new cd, and before he does, he's gonna sit down at the Nissan Live set (on the Fox lot, we believe) and record some live tracks for Yahoo!

Which rhymes with "we love you", and because we do, we are up to passing along this info:

Yahoo! Music and Columbia Records want you to join us when Wyclef Jean takes the stage for Nissan Live Sets in West Los Angeles, CA. November 5, 2007
7 pm (subject to change, you need to arrive two hours before)
Location: West Los Angeles

The first 200 fans to email us at Invite@YahooLiveSets.com will get in the doors for this exclusive taping. Plus you get to bring a friend. Please email us your name, your location, and tell us how much of a fan you are of Wyclef Jean! We will contact you if you are chosen to attend.

Please do not send multiple emails.

You must be at least 13 years old to attend. Fans under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

May the power of Jah be with you.
You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
