Woman Who Stabbed Ex With Ice Pick in Church Parking Lot Gets 17 Years
An Orange County woman has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for being the creepiest ex-girlfriend ever.In 2010, Elizabeth Villanueva, 49, hid in the backseat of her ex-boyfriend's Mercedes in a church parking lot in Yorba Linda. After he got in the car and started driving, she pulled out an ice pick and stabbed him in the head and shoulders.
The ex-boyfriend managed to get away after he crashed into a tree, while two witnesses held Villanueva until police came, according to the OC Weekly. The ex-boyfriend survived the attack.
Yesterday Villanueva pleaded guilty to one felony count of attempted murder, domestic battery and two felony counts of aggravated assault, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The couple had broken up before the stabbing, but they were apparently still living together.
