Police in Hawaiian Gardens are searching for a man who "allegedly doused his girlfriend with a flammable liquid and then set her on fire," reports KTLA. Arson and explosives investigators were sent to the 11800 block of Civic Center Drive about 11:00 p.m. on Saturday evening where they discovered a woman had been set on fire. The victim suffered third degree burns on 60 percent of her body and is listed in critical condition at a local hospital. The suspect, identified as the victim's boyfriend, remains at large.
