Woman May Have Fallen Asleep at the Wheel Before Fatally Crashing Into Pole in Silver Lake
Police say a woman may have fallen asleep at the wheel before she fatally crashed into a pole in Silver Lake last night.The woman, who was driving alone, crashed into a pole at Riverside Drive and Gilroy Street around 3:15 a.m. There was no evidence that the woman was intoxicated, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The woman has not been identified. She was transported to the Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, but she died shortly after.
