Woman Killed After Intentionally Walking Onto The 5 Freeway

According to authorities, a woman intentionally walked in front of a car on the northbound side of the 5 Freeway in Anaheim on Monday and was struck by several vehicles and killed, reports the Daily Breeze.
The incident happened during the morning commute around 6:00 a.m. at Euclid Street. Northbound lanes were closed between Lincoln and Brookhurst Street while police investigated the accident, reports KTLA. According to police, two lanes were reopened about 9:15 a.m., reports the Daily Breeze.
The woman died at the scene of her injuries and her death is being investigated as an apparent suicide. According to police, her name has been withheld pending notification of relatives.
