This brutal heatwave is likely to blame for the death of a San Bernardino woman who was found midday Wednesday unconscious next to her wheelchair.

The woman was found lying in the street, and she never regained consciousness.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death of 49-year-old Cindy Marie Grycel, who was pronounced dead late Thursday night at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, according to CBS2, however officials with the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department have indicated the believe Grycel's cause of death is "heat related."
