Weekend Weather Check: Strong Marine Layer, Cooler Temps

Now that Coachella is over, the heat wave can be done with its pretty self. This weekend across the immediate Los Angeles region, we're looking at high 60s today and tomorrow and low 70s on Sunday. Today, there's a strong marine layer in the basin that should stick around all day, but clear up in the Valley by afternoon and throughout the city by nightfall. Expect more strong marine layers on Saturday and Sunday mornings as well with afternoon clearing. Lows this weekend will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s and no rain is expected.
