Awful Wedding Photographer, Who Spied On Undressing Women, Gets Prison Time For Child Porn
A Fountain Valley man who held down a job as a wedding photographer was sentenced to 70 months in prison on two child pornography counts.David Brian White was caught by the Huntington Beach Police Department with 1,300 videos depicting sex acts involving children, the O.C. Weekly reports. He was indicted in 2011 and pleaded guilty to the charges in June of this year.
Before his arrest during a sting in 2010, White was a beloved figure in the community and still has people in his corner who claim that they trust him with their children. The O.C. Weekly reports that many of his friends are still flabbergasted that the so-called "life of the party" was capable of such heinous crimes, despite the fact that White has a long rap sheet for sexual deviance, including getting caught by law enforcement watching a woman undress and installing a hidden camera in dressing rooms during photography sessions. He was also questioned by Huntington Beach police in 2003 for taking photographs of children on the beach, but no charges were filed.
After White gets out of prison, he must have all of his internet activities monitored for ten years during his probation.
