Weather Check: Possible Light Rain Today & Tomorrow, Potential Storms Over the Weekend

The National Weather Service is reporting rain in California today, but not much is expected to hit Los Angeles. "We'll probably see less than two-tenths of rain," explained Bonnie Bartling, a weather specialist with the Service, about today's storm. "It's a week system and most of the action will be north of Point Conception."
Tomorrow's storm is expected to be similar, with most rain falling on the Central Coast.
This weekend, however, there is potential for a heavier system to hit sometime between Friday and Sunday, which could put a damper on the Oscars.
As for temperatures, expect mid 60s all week until the weekend when it could drop into the 50s.
