Video: Angelenos Trip Over Our Broken Sidewalks In Hilarious Spoof Of Pharrell's 'Happy'
While there’ve been plenty of people making their own versions of Pharrells’ “Happy” music video, this one’s #political.
Improv comedian Honora Talbott’s “Fix LA Sidwalks (Pharrell’s ‘Happy’ Parody)” calls out our crappy sidewalks as people dance to the song and fall over cracks and bulges in our walkways.
The video was published this week just as officials proposed a half-cent sales tax increase for the November ballot to improve roads and sidewalks, KTLA reports . The video even got the attention of L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, who tweeted the video and agreed with the sentiment, saying that fixing sidewalks would be part of this year’s budget plan.
Yes, it is time to fix our sidewalks--this will be a part of this year's budget plans but love this video parody: http://t.co/YEoF4Msr3u

At the end of the video, Talbott calls on viewers to have their say about our city streets at this poll .
