Like Totally Racist And Stuff: UCLA Student's Anti-Asian Video

We need to hear from you.
Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

A prattling, three-minute, cleavage shot video rant from UCLA student Alexandra Wallace has earned this unfortunate, small-minded specimen of a girl the un-enviable title of Worst Person Ever of the Day by the The Daily What following a racist, anti-Asian diatribe taking issue with, among other things, the non-use of "American manners" when she's studying "political science theories and arguments and all that stuff," in the library.

Wallace details her library frustration claiming, "all of a sudden when I'm, like, about to reach an epiphany, over here from somewhere I hear, Ohhhhhhhh! Ching chong ling long ting tong! Ohhhhhhh!" Unfazed by her own grotesqueness she continues, "I swear, they're going through their whole families just checking on everybody from the tsunami thing," suggesting, "if you are going to go call your address book, you might as well go outside."

A UCLA spokesman told the Daily Bruin newspaper the video was "repugnant" and contrary to the values the university believes in.
