Uber Driver Picking Up Passengers After Super Bowl Busted For DUI

An Uber driver was arrested for allegedly driving while drunk after watching the Super Bowl.Robert Wing, 46, was pulled over at about 1:40 a.m. this morning, KTLA reports. A patrol officer said he saw Wing's car, missing its front plate, decelerating as it approached a green light at Sterns and Alta Streets in Simi Valley.
The officer said that Wing told him that he was an Uber driver who had already given a few passengers rides that night, and was on his way to pick up another passenger. The officer also said that Wing admitted to watching the Super Bowl at a bar before deciding to activate the app and make some money.
Wing allegedly had a BAC of .25 at the time, far beyond the legal limit of .08. Wing was arrested and his car was impounded.
Sounds like somebody didn't heed the advice of Helen Mirren's Super Bowl commercial. Maybe he should've gotten a free Uber ride after the game.
