TMZ Reports Actress Brittany Murphy Has Died [UPDATED]

In a story labeled "developing" celebrity gossip website TMZ reports that 32-year-old actress Brittany Murphy has died. The star of Clueless and 8 Mile allegedly "died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived." TMZ adds that the Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed that a "911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack," and that Murphy "was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival." [UPDATE: 1:09 PM] A Cedars-Sinai Spokesperson confirms that Murphy was pronounced dead at their facility at 10:04 this morning, reports KTLA.
