Those octuplets born yesterday in Bellflower are reportedly doing well. "The orchestrated delivery went off without a hitch," said Dr. Harold Henry via the LA Times. "The babies are all doing well and the mom is also doing well. There were no complications from the surgery to the best of my knowledge."

Doctors and the unidentified mother were expecting seven little ones, but then Dr. Karen Maples' "eyes got to be the size of saucers" as she saw the eighth baby.

Six boys and two girls were born yesterday morning within a five minute window. They weigh between 1.8 pounds and 3.4 pounds.
