The Highest... (Un)Happiest... Place On Earth?
Frustrated and angry Anaheim residents are trying to shut down a neighborhood medical marijuana dispensary, reports ABC Local. Harbor Boulevard and Chestnut Street homeowners do not want the shop in their area and are trying to figure out how, and if, they can shutter the business that recently opened in January. Because the city of Anaheim is currently in a court battle over its ordinance banishing such establishments, it has not forced the closure of the dispensary over concerns it might begin another legal fight. Residents say the dispensary does not have a license.
One year ago, Congress voted to defund public media, eliminating a critical $1.7 million from our budget every year going forward. But they couldn’t silence us, and we’re not going anywhere.
