The Amazing DUI Race: From Malibu To Northridge

A high-speed pursuit came to a crunching halt Friday night with a multi-vehicle wreck in Northridge that injured the runaway suspect and hurt seven other people.
The chase began last night around 8:00 p.m. when Malibu officers attempted to stop a driver believed to be under the influence of drugs. The suspect fled, leading authorities on a chase that ended on the 17000 block of Nordhoff Street in Northridge.
ABC Local reports that the suspect was taken to a hospital in critical condition and a husband and wife in a Mercedes suffered serious back and neck injuries. Five other people sustained minor injuries.
