SUV Goes Off the 91, Killing 1
A person was killed when an SUV driving on the 91 freeway went off an embankment and burst into flames Sunday morning.The car went over the right shoulder of the westbound freeway west of Paramount Blvd. around 4:40 a.m., City News Service reported. Initial calls said the person killed was male, though that hasn’t yet been confirmed, a CHP officer said.
A SigAlert for the No. 5 lane of the freeway was issued and cleared by 8 a.m., the LA Times reported. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
