Suspect Arrested For Murder Of Teenager In Marina Del Rey

The FBI have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of 17-year-old Kristine Carman. On Monday morning, agents with the FBI's Fugitive Task Force arrested 21-year-old Cameron Frazier outside of his home in Vista, near San Diego. According to a press release from the LAPD, Frazier will be arraigned in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday.
Frazier is suspected of shooting 17-year-old Kristine Carman in a Marina del Rey parking lot on the evening of January 6. Authorities say it was a "failed robbery," possibly a drug deal gone wrong.
Carman was visiting family from Houston, Texas and was with her sister and her sister's boyfriend in the car when the shooting took place. According to a GoFundMe set up by Carman's family to cover funeral expenses, Kristine was one of five siblings.
"My younger sister was brutally murdered in cold blood in front of me in a robbery gone wrong," said her sister Lacey.
