Real-Life Drive-by Shooting Happens On Location Of 'Straight Outta Compton'
The cast and crew of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton were reportedly witnesses to a drive-by shooting outside the Compton Courthouse last week. The crew was setting up outside the courthouse when some nearby men flashed gang signs at a car driving by. Attackers in the car opened fire, hitting one bystander, TMZ reports.
The bystander survived and the crew, though shaken, will keep filming in Compton. The shooting is being investigated by the L.A. Sheriff's Department.
Straight Outta Compton is scheduled to come out on August 14, 2015.
