Laguna Hills police arrested a 53-year-old woman on Thursday night who reportedly hit her husband with a 200-year-old musical instrument, reports the OC Register. 5-foot, 5-inch tall Zahra Tehrani allegedly struck her husband over the head with his 200-year old Persian tar during an argument on the 24700 block of Georgia Sue, say police.

"The Persian tar is considered by Iranians to be the 'sultan of instruments,' according to Nay-Nava, an encyclopedia of Persian musical instruments, notes the OC Register. The husband reported the tar worth an estimated $10,000.

Tehrani was taken to the Intake and Release Center after being arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. She was released on bond. The victim had visible signs of injury, according to police, but was not seriously hurt and did not receive medical attention, reports the OC Register.
