Son Butchers Mom's Boyfriend With Meat Cleaver

L.A. County deputies shot and killed a suspect in a meat cleaver attack last night in Roland Heights, reports KTLA.
In a statement, sheriff officials said they received a 911 call of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 18500 block of Colima Road. Deputies were met on the scene by a woman who said her son was stabbing her boyfriend. When deputies entered the apartment they, "saw a man sitting on the chest of another man and slashing his head and neck with a meat cleaver."
According to deputies, the suspect ignored their order to drop the weapon and was shot three times and killed. The victim of the attack was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive his wounds. The motive for the attack is under investigation.
