A Powerball ticket with the six winning numbers was sold Saturday night in Sun City, CA. The winner, who has yet to be identified, can claim a jackpot worth $447.8 million. According to the California Lottery website, the ticket was sold at Marietta Liquor & Deli. The jackpot is the 10th largest jackpot in American lottery history, according to the L.A. Times.

The jackpot reached this size because no one had matched all the numbers since April 1. The winner can choose to receive the whole jackpot in annuity payments over the course of 29 years, or claim a smaller lump sum up front, according to CNN. The lump sum for this jackpot is around $300 million.

The liquor store that sold the ticket will receive a $1 million "retailer bonus." Matthew Alberre, the store owner, told NBC News "it's a very good feeling to be the winning store," adding that many locals have been coming in to buy extra lottery tickets.
