Someone Fell Off A Balcony During The Blink 182 Show
A man fell from a VIP balcony on the second floor of the Hollywood Palladium a during a sold-out Blink 182 concert Thursday night. Both the man's identity and the cause of the fall are unknown. The victim fell more than 10 feet from the balcony onto Sunset Boulevard, according to NBC4. Authorities said he was taken to a hospital, though they are unsure of his condition.
One witness said the fall happened during the band's encore performance and few people initially noticed.
"All of a sudden, this big body comes over the balcony and just - splat - face down," Cassie Piasecki told NBC. "I didn't hear anybody scream. He didn't land on anybody."
A small group of people tried to help the man, while people looked on in horror from the balcony above. Piasecki said the man's face was covered with blood, but he was able to move and talk.
She said she checked on the man before leaving, and that he had been turned onto his back and his shirt was removed.
