A dude in Orange County tried to rob a bank but it ended up being a total bummer. The dude handed the teller a note, saying he was robbing the bank. The clerk announced that actually they were fresh out of money, so the dude hopped on his skateboard and made a not-so-quick getaway.

The skater didn't appear to be armed, police said. He was wearing a black hoodie and a black hat and was in his 20s (which probably doesn't narrow things down a whole lot).

This is all went down at a Wells Fargo bank in Yorba Linda just before noon, according to City News Service.
