A man was shot in the parking lot of a Ralph's supermarket in Woodland Hills this afternoon.
The shooting happened around 3:19 pm in the parking lot of the store at the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue, according to City News Service. A car fled the scene. The Ralph's is across the street from Taft High School, but it's not clear if the school was on lockdown.
The victim, an unidentified man who appeared to be in his early 20's, was taken to a nearby hospital, according to the Los Angeles Times. His condition was not noted in news reports.
CNS reports that the suspect vehicle may have been dark green. Police told the Times that it was a 4-door Infinity luxury sedan, last seen heading south on Quakertown Street.
