Shark Attack In Santa Barbara County Leaves Man Dead
A shark attack in the waters of Santa Barbara County claimed a man's life Tuesday morning. L.A. Now reports the incident took place "in a remote area near Surf Beach at Vandenberg Air Force Base," though the victim was not affiliated with the Air Force base.
A distress call about a shark attack went out this morning. Responders arrived at the public beach and performed CPR on the man, whose age has been estimated to be between 25 and 33. Details about the attack, such as what the man was doing at the time or where in the waters he was when he encountered the shark, are not immediately known.
