San Diego Craigslist Post Threatens Attack Similar To Orlando Shooting
A San Diego Craigslist post that surfaced earlier this week warned that San Diego would soon suffer a mass shooting similar to the Pulse shooting in Orlando.
On Tuesday night, 10 News San Diego received a screenshot of the alleged threat from a viewer. The viewer said he found the post—titled "We need more Orlando's (sic)"—in the m4m personal ads section of the local Craigslist. The post has since been removed, but it read:
Orlando was long overdue. Cleanse your community of the filth that gives decent gay men and women a bad name. Those people were walking diseases, bug chasers, and thank god for AIDS and 9-11 and now Orlando. San Diego you are next…
The post also contained a photo of a gun.

A 'bug chaser' is a slang term referring to someone who seeks to intentionally contract HIV.
10 News alerted the FBI as well as local authorities, who are now looking into the origin of the post. So far, the FBI is unaware of any credible threats in San Diego. San Diego police have increased security around LGBTQ venues.
