We're all loving this February heatwave, right? If anything, it gives us ammo to laugh at our friends back east.On Monday, several heat records were broken across the region, with temperatures getting into the low-90s and giving Angelenos a beach day for their three-day weekend. High temperatures continue into Tuesday, but the National Weather Service says that a break will be come by Wednesday. By Tuesday night, temperatures should drop about 15 to 20 degrees, reports the L.A. Times.

It won't be a storm of biblical proportions, but Angelenos should expect up to a quarter-inch of rain to fall late Wednesday and early Thursday.

The rest of February will be pretty dry, but forecasters say the much ballyhooed El Niño hasn't been a bust—it's just a little behind schedule. March should be pretty wet.
