Deadline has been counting other people's money and put together an exclusive list of media moguls and their startling compensation packages compared to averages of other top executives.

Often considered a "red flag" to shareholders when a public company pays one of its top bananas three or more times the average of other big cheeses, Deadline has "taken proxy statements and done the computations" and discovered that at least 16 of 35 companies failed" the red flag test.

Experts say an "out-of-whack pay package" could be trouble for shareholders because it could indicate a belief that one person possesses "super-human" power, or it could mean the board of directors is being influenced by the CEO, reports Deadline. See the full list of average discrepancies here.
