Have plans on Thursday? Too bad.President Barack Obama will be back in the Southland on Thursday, taping an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and attending a fundraiser in Hancock Park. On Friday he will be heading out of town for the Sunnylands estate in Rancho Mirage, for a summit with Southeast Asian leaders.

R&B singer John Legend will be singing at the Democratic fundraising event, with tickets starting at $1,000 per person all the way up to $33,400 per couple, according to LAObserved.

Though the schedule of road closures have yet to be released by the LAPD, it's worth noting that the DeGeneres' show tapes in Burbank, so this could be a pretty wide-reaching Obamajam between Burbank and Hancock Park.

Angelenos might have noticed the goofy-looking V-22 Ospreys flying overhead on Tuesday, training ahead of Obama's visit.
