Pregnant Woman Loses Her Baby After Brawl

A woman who was eight months pregnant lost her baby after getting into a fight in Gardena with her son's girlfriend.
It's not clear what the fight was about, but the fight between the 36-year-old pregnant woman and her son's 23-year-old girlfriend happened around 9:30 pm last night, according to City News Service. (Neither of the women's names are being released.) During the fight, she was injured in the abdomen.
A doctor found that the woman's baby was no longer viable after her injuries. Homicide detectives with the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau are investigating the case.
