Ongoing power outages continue across the Southland this afternoon as the worst of the storm hits. As of the last updates released by utilities, about 13,000 customers are without power between the L.A Department of Water & Power and Southern California Edison.
2,000 LADWP customers are without power the LADWP twittered around 2:30 p.m. And some 11,000 Edison customers are in the dark, as of a 2:15 p.m. update. The hardest hit areas include:
- Wildomar, 2,148 customers
- Huntington Beach, 582 customers
- Rowland Heights, 568 customers
- Whittier, 513 customers
- Winchester, 471 customers
- Palm Springs, 416 customers
- Corona , 402 customers
