Police Shoot South LA Robber, Find Five Bound Adults

A home-invasion suspect was fatally shot by LAPD last night, a second suspect was arrested and five adults were found bound inside the "ransacked" home, according to LA Now. Police entered a residence in the 8700 block of McKinley Avenue in South LA and found a man armed with a Tec-9 pistol escaping out the back door. An officer shot the suspect, who died later at the hospital. Of the five residents that were bound, one was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and has been released. An investigation has been opened and it is unclear if the suspect pointed a gun at officers before he was shot and killed.
