On-Duty LAPD Officer May Have Forced Women to Have Sex With Him

The Daily News reports that "Officer Russell Mecano was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of soliciting a sex act." Mercano worked out of the West Los Angeles police station as a patrol officer and was arrested there, then posted bail shortly thereafter. He has been "ordered Mecano to remain home pending the resolution of the investigation," but the LAPD has not released any further details about him or his case, and "a judge ordered the indictment against Mecano be sealed."
