Obamajam Traffic Update: LAPD Suggests What Streets to Avoid When

President Barack Obama is due to land at LAX at around 4 p.m. today, and while his precise route is not being announced as a precaution, the Los Angeles Police Department have provided a "suggested" list of what streets drivers, bus riders, and pedestrians should avoid at what times as the Commander-in-Chief makes his way through town.
Those streets are, according to City News Service:
WEDNESDAY
-- Pico Boulevard and Avenue of the Stars, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.;
-- Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.;
-- Sunset and Beverly Glen boulevards, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and
-- Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
THURSDAY
-- Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica boulevards, from 7:30 a.m. to
9:30 a.m.; and
-- Pico Boulevard and Avenue of the Stars, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Tonight, Obama is headed to a private Holmby Hills residence to attend a fundraiser likely to be attended by some Hollywood heavy-hitters. Tomorrow he is expected at a breakfast event in Corona del Mar. Total Traffic LA has published street closures in place in that area from 6 a.m. to Noon Thursday:
* Seaward Road from East Coast Highway to Driftwood Road
* Evening Canyon Road from Morning Canyon Road to Shorecliff Road
* Driftwood Road from Morning Canyon to Shorecliff Road
* Morning Canyon Road from East Coast Highway to Shorecliff Road
* Shorecliff Road
