Man Attempts Suicide By Jumping Off Balcony of Four Seasons Hotel

A 40-year-old man survived a leap from a 10th floor balcony of the Four Seasons Beverly Hills hotel in what authorities believe was a suicide attempt.
The man jumped at around 6:40 p.m. Thursday, landing on a bellhop cart in the rear of the hotel, according to City News Service. The Four Seasons Beverly HIlls is actually located in Los Angeles on the border of Beverly Hills, so the case is under the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The jumper's name has not been released.
Last night, an LAPD spokesman told the Hollywood Reporter the man was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and was breathing but unconscious. This morning his condition has been reported as stable.
