An LAPD officer responding to a call in South Los Angeles learned the hard way that he needs to be careful where he points that thing.One of Los Angeles' finest shot himself in the foot while he was riding in a patrol car with his partner, according to City News Service. He was on his way to a call near Broadway and Century Boulevard around 9am this morning.

His partner drove him to the hospital, and he's in stable condition.
