Guy Caught Driving Without Pants Tells Police: 'My Thing is the Freedom'
A man was arrested in Glendale this week after police caught him driving pantsless.Umar Khan, 34, of Glendale was arrested Thursday on suspicion of "indecent exposure." Police told the Glendale News-Press that during their investigation of Khan, they discovered that he likes driving around at night pantsless, looking for a cul-de-sac or driveway to masturbate in. Khan seems to have been down this road before: in 1998, he was convicted for indecent exposure.
Khan was arrested around 2 am Thursday after he ran a stop sign. When police pulled him over, they noticed he wasn't wearing anything from the waist down. Police said he offered an explanation: “My thing is the freedom.”
Police say when they arrested Khan he also had meth and a glass pipe in his car, and they arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
