City Councilman In Car Crash, Given Sobriety Test

Los Angeles City Councilman Jose Huizar was involved in a minor traffic collision Thursday night near his home.
The crash happened at 6: 45 p.m. in an intersection in Boyle Heights, confirmed Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman of the Media Relations Section, according to City News Service.
Huizar was given a field sobriety test following the crash. A statement from Huizar's office elaborates:
“Councilmember Huizar was involved in a minor traffic accident this evening near 1st and Boyle near his home in Boyle Heights. LAPD gave the Councilmember a DUI sobriety test, which of course he passed. The Councilmember is glad that nobody was seriously injured.”
