Body of Suicide Victim Found on Elementary School Grounds [UPDATED]

There was a gruesome discovery early this morning on the grounds of a local elementary school.
Authorities say the body of a woman who committed suicide was found at about 7:15 a.m. Friday at Brainard Avenue Elementary School in Lake View Terrace, according to City News Service.
A representative with the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed the death was "an apparent suicide," however they have not released details regarding how she ended her life or why she was at the elementary school.
The victim's name has been withheld pending notification of her family.
UPDATE 2:41 PM We've learned a bit more about the incident. The victim, a black female in her 30s, was found hanging on the school property. According to news broadcasts, the woman was not a school employee or a parent of a student at the school.
