Police Affair Academy 14: Mission To My Pants?
Accused of having an affair with a cadet in the department, San Fernando police chief Anthony Ruelas, who was promoted in August, has been put on administrative leave, reports ABC Local.
A former police explorer and cadet, 22 year-old Maria Barajas reportedly sent a letter in January to the city council claiming that she had a sexual relationship with Chief Anthony Ruelas, the 49-year-old married father of three, that began in 2008 when Ruelas was a lieutenant.
She allegedly wrote that Ruelas "started urging her to find another job in 2009," reports ABC Local, later stating that, "she was unfairly fired in connection with a car accident involving other cadets even though she was not driving."
