OC 'Rambo' Arrested For Bamboo Stick Assault
Ian Michael Quinn, a 31-year-old Orange County man, was arrested Sunday around 2:00 a.m. on suspicion of assault after he allegedly attacked a neighbor with a "martial arts-type weapon," reports the OC Register. According to police, Quinn hit his neighbor in the face "with a bamboo stick that resembled a weapon used in 'Rambo 2,' Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Ted Boyne said."
Reports indicate that the victim went to the house on the 22000 block of Rimhurst Drive because a party, hosted by Quinn, had become too loud. Quinn reportedly assaulted the neighbor using a 30 inch long, 1 1/4 inch diameter bamboo weapon causing injuries to the face and head.
