US Airways Will Resume Free Soda Service

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.
If you're one of the passengers who refused to pay for drinks in-flight, you won. Thirsty as you may have been, you outlasted U.S. Airways. The airline gave up charging money for soft drinks and coffee. It was the only airline to charge for nonalcoholic drinks. Passengers of various airlines still have to pay extra fees for checked bags or pillows or leg room, but water is once again on the house.
