N.H. Rebuffs Seatbelt Law

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.
New Hampshire's motto is live free or Die. In a few cases each year, it's Live free and die. Statistics show 10 people will die in New Hampshire this year because they were not wearing seatbelts. State senators killed a proposed seatbelt law. So this is still the only state that does not make adults buckle up. An opponent of the seatbelt measure says you are free to risk your life. A supporter says you're free to go through the windshield.
