A federal trial in Dallas pits the United States against the Holy Land Foundation, of Richardson, Texas. The Foundation was once North America's largest Muslim charity but the government closed it in 2001, calling it a terrorist organization. Five defendants and 2 fugitives face several charges, including conspiracy, money laundering, and engaging in prohibited financial transactions.
