Insurance remains a huge obstacle for many people along the Gulf Coast. This is especially true in Louisiana, which endured hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005.
Experts have predicted that this year's hurricane season, which begins June 1, will be an active one. Homeowners' insurance rates have sky-rocketed, forcing some people to ask themselves if they should stay in the region.
