Hot Dog Champ Aims To Reclaim Title
ARI SHAPIRO, host:
Good morning. What better way to celebrate the Fourth than by gorging on hot dogs? That's what 21 competitors plan to do at the annual Coney Island hot dog eating contest today. The man to watch is Takeru Kobayashi. He's won six contests in a row, but last year he came in second, eating 63 dogs in buns in 12 minutes. The man who came in first ate 66. Is that all? Kobayashi says last year's lost was due to an athletic injury in his jaw.
