Car Warranty Call Gets Senator's Attention

Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne. Tens of thousands of complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau about a telemarketing call warning that your car warranty is about to expire. Even Senator Chuck Schumer got the call several times. The calls, in violation of the National Do Not Call Registry, are part of a scam to get credit card numbers and put bogus charges on them. Now the senator's making a call of his own to the Federal Trade Commission, calling for an investigation.
