Bill Cosby Won't Face Charges For Two Alleged Sexual Assaults In Los Angeles

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office announced on Wednesday that they have declined to file charges against Bill Cosby in two cases. One of the cases involves 24-year-old Chloe Goins, who claims that Cosby drugged her at a party in the Playboy Mansion in 2008. Goins, who was 18 at the time of the alleged incident, says she woke up to find herself "butt naked" on a bed and with Cosby sucking on her toes and pleasuring himself. "However, there is no evidence to support the filing of these crimes," the D.A. determined. "Consequently, after evaluating all potential charges, there is insufficient evidence to prove these crimes beyond a reasonable doubt."
In the other case, a woman accused Cosby of raping her in 1965, when she was 17. Prosecutors determined that the case could not go forward due to the statute of limitations, and thus declined to press charges.
The announcement comes just a week after Cosby was charged with indecent assault in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
