This morning it was Vietnamese-fusion and now we're talking Japanese-fusion. After a soft-opening in October that ended last night, Grub Street gives a heads up to this Saturday's opening of Agura in West Hollywood.

On the menu? Sushi, of course, but lots more, says Grub Street: "Agura has Japanese pastas like a beef sukiyaki with shitake, noodles, and scrambled eggs, as well as entrees like curried Colorado lamb and foie gras with a daikon steak. Seafood is where it flourishes though. Clever additions of unagi pie, gruyere crab crepes, and a deep fried lobster tail with gin infused mayo can be washed down with everything from sake to house cocktails with tequila and muddled berries."
